Research Report on Improving the Mechanism for Reviewing the Economic Status of Families Applying for Rural Minimum Living Allowance

In the implementation of China's rural minimum living allowance (RMLA) system, the review of a family's economic status is a crucial step, serving as an important basis for determining eligibility and assistance standards. Currently, no national-level document specifically addresses the review of the economic status of families applying for RMLA. There is an urgent need for such guidelines to regulate and guide the implementation of the system at the grassroots level. This study systematically reviews relevant policies and regulations at both the central and local levels and summarizes practical experiences from grassroots work. It provides policy recommendations for improving the RMLA family economic review mechanism, focusing on four key aspects: defining the content of the review, clarifying review methods, standardizing review procedures, and determining responsible entities for the review.
