Abstract

The central government has paid high attention to the nutritional status of children in recent years, and has launched a variety of plans of nutrition improvement and school meals covering the whole country, especially in rural areas. Considering the existing relevant researches in China, there is still much room for discussion in terms of project management quality and sustainable development involved in such plans' implementation. By introducing the practical experience of the United Nations World Food Programme in developing countries, such as India, Brazil and Thailand, sorting out the specific documentary contents of the management of school meal plans in the developed countries, such as the United States and Japan, and combining the common problems and measures of sociology and economics happened during the process of decentralization of the power of public services, the paper carries out the theoretical analysis and discussion on the application of the best practice of maintaining management quality in meal plans. The analysis and discussion will be taken as the reference for further discussion of the relevant systems and management methods that conform to the national conditions of our country.
